Dear Person I am Writing To:
This is an optional sentence introducing who I am and work for, included if the addressee has never corresponded with me before. The second optional sentence reminds the person where we met, if relevant. This sentence states the purpose of the email.
This optional paragraph describes in more detail what’s needed. This sentence discusses relevant information like how soon an answer is needed, what kind of an answer is needed, and any information that the other person might find useful. If there’s a lot of information, it’s a good idea to separate this paragraph into two or three paragraphs to avoid having a Wall of Text.
If a description paragraph was used, close with a restatement of the initial request, in case the addressee ignored the opening paragraph.
This sentence is just a platitude (usually thanking them for their time) because people think I’m standoffish, unreasonably demanding, or cold if it’s not included.

You burst through the door to the Stilinski household, the Sheriff had decided to have a small cookout now that Stiles’ brother had come back from Google. This had come as quite a shock to you because up until a few hours ago you didn’t even know Stiles had a brother.
“Punctual as always.” Lydia said you let out a small chuckle. “As long as the food’s not out I’m early.” You said making her roll her eyes. You threw yourself down on the couch next to Scott and Stiles.
“So, where’s the guest of honor?” You asked as you snatched the remote from Stiles. “Don’t know, last I checked he was helping my dad outside, if not Stu’s probably hiding somewhere.” Stiles said not complaining as you flipped through the channels.
“Stuart doesn’t really like people.” Scott added.
“Stiles and Stuart. Nice form of alliteration. It’s just too bad Stiles isn’t your real name.” You responded. Stiles whacked you in the arm. “Dude, don’t bring it up.” He said you rolled your eyes. “Okay, okay, sorry, sensitive subject. jeez Stilinski lighten up.” You said as you and Scott tried to hold back your laughter.
After a while the Sheriff walked into the living room saying that he was just going to go pick up a pizza, apparently someone–not pointing any fingers–you–had used up most of the propane to make a small–by your standards–explosive device and now he had nothing to cook the meat with.
“Who would do such an awful thing?” You asked trying to sound horrified–the Sheriff didn’t buy it. “Just don’t blow the house up while I’m gone.” He ordered you. You saulted him as he walked out the door.
“Well, I’m just gonna go raid your kitchen.” You said as you shot up and started making your way out of the room. “Don’t blow anything up!” He shouted halfheartedly. “No promises!” You called back.
You started looking through the small kitchen. “Vinegar, vinegar, vinegar.” You mumbled to yourself as your looked through their cabinets.
“Top left.” Someone called out, you glanced over and saw who you assumed was Stuart, since it sure as hell wasn’t Stiles.
“You know, for some reason it never occurred to me that the two of you would be twins.” You said more to yourself rather than the other brother. “So you’re the infamous (y/n).”
“Infamous? I like the sound of that.” You said smirking. “Yeah, heard you’re the resident arsonist.” You opened your mouth to retaliate then realized that he wasn’t saying anything but the truth. “Well I suppose there’s worse things to be known for.”
“You know, due to your reputation I pictured you with more scars.” Stuart said. “Oh I’ve got scars, they’re just not very visible when I have clothes on.” You said trying to flirt with him. “Maybe I could see them sometime.” It wasn’t a question.
“Cocky aren’t you?” You asked with a raised eyebrow. “Well it wasn’t Stiles who ended up with the charisma.” He said. “Clearly.” You said.
Throughout the entire conversation the two of you had been moving closer and closer to one another. It wasn’t like talking to Stiles, Stuart was much more forward, almost dominate. You had to admit it was attractive. He looked down at you. “I’m gonna kiss you now.” He said.
“Well I’d be rather angry if you didn’t.” You said with a smirk. “No. No. No.” Stiles burst into the kitchen before Stuart’s lips could touch yours. “No, you can’t have her, she’s my friend. Go find a hook up somewhere else.” Stiles said grabbing your arm and leading you out of the kitchen.
“Stay.” Stiles said as he made you sit on the couch and sat himself down next to you. “You know, I half expected you to get more angry at me than at him.” You mumbled. “Oh, don’t worry, I’m mad at you too.” He said angrily. You looked over the couch to see where Stuart was. He was standing by the stairway motioning for you to follow him upstairs. You nodded and started trying to figure out how to escape Stiles’ ever watchful gaze.

The biggest problem with the Harry Potter movies…how do I put this?
They substituted too many original book scenes with new scenes but those new scenes did nothing to add to the atmosphere of Harry Potter. If anything, it ruined the atmosphere. And you’re left wondering why they had to add those scenes and why they didn’t keep the original scenes to begin with?
Like for example, look at Ron and Hermione’s relationship.
Deathly Hallows Part I added the scene where Ron and Hermione are playing the piano and a scene where Ron and Hermione are skipping rocks.
But the movie excluded the scene where Ron told Hermione that she could change her surname to Weasley and that he and his family would hide her because they loved her, because he loved her, and they would do anything to protect her.
Or look at how they changed the kiss. Why? Why was it necessary for them to randomly kiss after being chased by a Voldemort tidal wave? Why couldn’t they keep the original scene where Ron talked about how they needed to save the house-elves? Of course, it wouldn’t really make sense, because they never showed Hermione’s obsession with the house-elves to begin with.
Actually, that’s one of the biggest issues with Movie!Hermione. The problem isn’t that Emma Watson was too pretty. The problem was that the movies focused on Hermione’s perfection and her ability to always have an answer to the scene, instead of focusing on her anxiety under pressure or her obsessiveness or any other negative trait.
And don’t get me started on the butchering of Ron’s character.
Or look at Harry and Ginny’s relationship in the books verses the movies. The movies added a scene where Harry zipped up Ginny’s dress but they neglected to add the scene where they had a heart-to-heart talk about how difficult it was to maintain a relationship during war times and how they were putting their relationship on hold, even though it was hard, because they truly loved each other.
I could just start listing specifics.
Like how the Prisoner of Azkaban added the Monster Book of Monsters scene and the choir scene and the candy…smoke…ears scene but they didn’t add the scene where Sirius and Remus briefly explained their backstory or the scene where Sirius enters the tower to get Peter or the scene where Dumbledore and Harry talk about Pettigrew’s life-debt.
The Goblet of Fire movie added so many unnecessary scenes and cut out about ¾ of the scenes from the book in order to do so.
Order of the Phoenix put in a bunch of filler and ended up reducing the DA training to a montage with upbeat music.
The Half Blood Prince added all of these filler scenes for the sake of humor or filler but failed to really show Tom Riddle’s backstory. They added the scene where the Death Eaters attacked the Burrow but failed to add the extensive final battle in Hogwarts. They made sure to show every single moment of Harry getting high from Felix Felicis but never showed him coming to terms with the prophecy.
They even messed up the final battle between Harry and Voldemort. I mean, it was epic but they just…messed up.
Or just look at the Prince’s Tale. They literally changed every single scene and in doing so, they completely missed the point of Snape’s character.
They completely missed the points of a lot of characters.
They weren’t bad, per say, but they just…weren’t…accurate. And as much as I love them, there’s also a part of me that wishes that they could have come closer to capturing the character and atmosphere of Harry Potter.
